POAS to 26 weeks

Our bedding is ordered!! It was on sale today @ Target, so my mom ordered it!!!!
I don't get it until the shower, :(
But I guess I can wait!!

How far along?: 27 weeks
Total weight gain: 13 lbs
Maternity clothes: yes - since 9 weeks, and they are not fitting as well now :(
Sleep: Can't get enough, but i am so uncomfortable
Best moment of the week: being kicked and punched in the cervix
Movement: Tons! He's mean!
Gender: Boy
Food cravings: grilled chicken, ding dongs
Labor signs: lots of Braxton Hicks
Bell button in or out: In - barely
What I miss most: my feet?
What I'm looking forward to: starting on the nursery
Milestones: baby is size of an eggplant according to the bump. I bet he is way bigger than that, though

Countdown: 13 weeks
Things to do:
1. Rip out carpet
2. Stain concrete
3. Build wall
4. Paint entire house
5. Finish kitchen cabinets
6. Re-caulk bathtub
7. Shower
8. Put entire baby room together - assemble/arrange everything!

Best moment of the week: baby kicking the golden doodle which was laying on my belly
Movement: more every day, he's pretty regular

What I miss most: being able to get off of couch w/out effort
What I'm looking forward to: hubby's back healing

Sleep: Can't get enough - 10 hrs most nights!
Best moment of the week: BIG u/s, going from 20 weeks to 21 weeks 3 days in 20 minutes, lol.

Milestones: baby Harry being 1lb already!

Looking back to December 2005...

My little sisters was murdered. Ripped from her family way to soon. Stolen from the baby girl that loves her so much.

A horrible man killed her in her own home, and left her 2 year old daughter to fend for herself until she was found. (almost 2 days later). They found her body Tuesday afternoon, she could've been dead since Monday morning.

The press came out to the house... I guess it turned out to be a good thing. We had no way to contact her friends, so at least now they will see her picture and be able to make the funeral. Mom needed to be able to get her story out.

He took a sister, mother, daughter, grandaughter, friend, away from us all. I can't explain how angry I am. I can't explain how much pain I feel over losing her. We are all at a great loss.

"The baby will get a Christmas, we will get a funeral." was what mom told the reporters. It is so hard.

Update: I still miss her like CRAZY! I get so angry sometimes, that she was taken from us! Time is supposed to heal all wounds. This wound will be an eternity...
